The beach is divided into two sections, to keep windsurfers away from kids and families. The breakfast, snacks, lemonade etc they provided were also great. Life guards, restrooms, food, wheelchair accessible. Not a clam.

The nice thing about Cape May is almost everything is within walking distance or just a short drive away. There are dunes behind the beach and easy access to bike trails. Limited handicapped-accessible transportation; call for details. Flagpoles at the top of the stairs warn the public of dangerous conditions. Operated by the town of Eastham. Lots of parking.

Here is a photo guide to common edible shellfish of Cape Cod and environs and their inedible or nasty! It was nice to have two rooms to spread out in. Get there between October 1 through March 31 and you can enjoy the solitude and beauty of one of the least visited beaches in the state. A short portion of the trail is handicap accessible in the form of a boardwalk that ends at a platform where the ocean can be viewed. Another advantage is that, assuming they originate from a sustainable harvesting operation, shells are eco-friendly. Please clean up after your pet.
